Silhouette Art by Clay Rice
Last Cast
As an artist, a large part of my job is to observe and experience what I am about to cut a silhouette of. I drift in my big Carolina skiff sometimes and I don’t set a line. I just watch and observe. As the sun sets in the Lowcountry, there is always a straggler, the angler who never gives up. This silhouette, entitled “Last Cast”, is a tribute to that angler.
